Dr. Demilade Olusola Ibirongbe is a disciplinary public health and community medicine physician with specialization in Health Policy and Systems Management, and Health Economics. He graduated from the University of Ilorin with an MBBS degree, an MSc in Public Health from University of Suffolk, UK and is a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians (WACP). His research interests are in Health systems management, health care financing, and epidemiology and disease control (infectious and communicable disease).
He is skilled in health research conceptualization and conduct, project management, cost analysis, and monitoring and evaluation. Presently Dr. Ibirongbe lectures with the University of Medical Sciences, (UNIMED) Ondo, Nigeria, where he teaches undergraduate students in the Department of Community Medicine, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, and the Department of Health Policy and Management, School of Public Health. His hobbies include writing, traveling, and listening to music.
